A First Look at her Sacred Artwork

A brief glimpse into the emotional reveal of a client’s finished Sacred Light Portrait — her painting and collection of matted prints created to honor her inner light.

Gina has such a loving, positive energy, I enjoyed sharing in this experience. Gina and I cocreated the idea of a shoot in my home, which felt like a nourishing space to express myself and to add my own sense of belonging to our photoshoot. Gina made me feel seen, safe, and comfortable during our shoot, and she is full of creative ideas and inspiration, and playful energy that helps her clients feel at ease and open to exploring and working with their unique energy and environment - this made the photoshoot feel both fun and grounded. Gina is a talented artist, so seeing her vision of what she created from the photoshoot was an amazing experience to be seen through the lens of how others perceive us. Yes, there is an inner recognition and sense of empowerment seeing ourselves fully - which is part of the beauty of this offering - but so often our inner mirror feels cloudy. I think what was the most inspiring was to have another woman and artist reflect radiance and beauty back to me, and it truly helped me see myself in a new, authentic, and organic way that I don’t think I’ve been able to witness in myself before. I think that is the beauty and draw of such an intimate, creative, and experiential container such as this - it truly is a way of witnessing not only our outer selves, but Gina captures and inspires us to revel in the unique beauty we each hold from within. I am so grateful to have shared in this for myself, but also with Gina. Gina is a light herself and is able to shine a light on others so we can remember the depth, complexity, and beauty that is always present, but is easy to overlook. This creation and experience taught me to see myself more fully, to be open to seeing myself from all angles (figuratively and physically), and to embrace myself in new ways that having these portraits has been able shine back to me in the radiance of celebrating myself, in this moment of my journey and of my life. I am grateful to Gina for her work in this world, and helping women to be present with themselves in such a beautiful way through her art.
